GayFiesta™ - History & Purpose
GayFiesta™ - Since 1983 !
GayFiesta™ was first held on Aug, 21 1983 at Villita Assembly Hall for Gay & Lesbian San Antonions & visitors to come together for a day of fun and social activities in an atmosphere different from other San Antonio events. GayFiesta™ is produced by and is a registered trademark of Gay Fiesta, Inc. Although GayFiesta™ is primarily presented as an entertainment event, it is a fundraiser by and for We Are Alive, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity and from time-to-time other San Antonio charites. We Are Alive, Inc. assists persons with severe and terminal illnessess. To find out more about We Are Alive, Inc. visit www.WeAreAlive.org.
Behind the scenes and absorbed into the hustle and bustle of GayFiesta™, individual volunteers, volunteers from various organizations and entertainers are working hard to make GayFiesta™ fun and to raise funds for charity. Approximately over 100 volunteers help out. This year we also have Guest Volunteers from out of state whom are faithfully returning again for a long weekend to help out with GayFiesta™!

| Food, Merchandise & Drinks
There will be various food, merchandise and beverage concessions at GayFiesta™. GayFiesta™ operates all beverage concessions. Food sales, merchandise sales and game booths are open to individuals, businesses and organizations for a nominal fee. Anyone interested in having a booth at GayFiesta™, should contact GayFiesta™ ASAP to reserve a space and/or booth by calling 210-737-1411 or by going to the "Contact Us" page on this website or by Clicking Here To Request A Space And Booth Now.
Bartenders and cashiers will be provided by volunteers from local agencies and volunteers from various bars.
ATM service is contracted through a third party to be located inside the event site.
